For over 40 years, guests have come to the “Jaramillo Home” and
celebrated food, family and tradition.
The old Spanish family recipes are served to this day and made with local
ingredients that celebrate the northern New Mexico heritage.
The restaurante was the first to use the famous Chimayó red chile
in virtually every main dish and has been accredited with its rise in culinary
stature.
Favorite recipes are prepared with both green and Chimayó red chile
and include Carne Adovada, Green Chile Rellenos, Fajitas, Sopapillas and
the famous Chimayó cocktail (a blend of tequila, apple cider, and
fresh apple). The old adobe restaurant is warm and earthy. Red chile ristras
always grace the entrance, and gracious hospitality awaits you.
